A legislative town hall meeting (in-person + virtual option) will be held on December 13, 2023 from 2:30 - 4:30 p.m. at 5280 High School, 1200 W. Mississippi Ave, Denver, CO 80223, to review and discuss the upcoming Justice Engaged Student Bill of Rights (JESBOR.)

GSN CEO Wendy Loloff-Cooper and Vice President Dr. Jose Silva are leading the community impact effort called Justice-Engaged Students - Colorado (JES-CO) and are currently outlining the JESBOR, a cutting-edge piece of legislation and an invaluable educational resource for justice-engaged students, families, and educators.

The goal of the legislation is to eliminate the confusion between the justice and education systems to attend to safety while also increasing educational attainment.

Two Colorado legislators will be in attendance and participating in a student-led panel to discuss how they are prioritizing the educational attainment of justice-engaged youth in the upcoming legislative session.
