Join us at the Colorado State Capitol on Monday, April 29th at 1pm on the west steps for the Day of Action for the Justice Engaged Student Bill of Rights (HB 24-1216).

What to Expect:

 ğŸ‘‰ Justice Engaged Student and Family Voices: Hear from those in your community who would directly benefit from the passing of HB 24-1216.

👉 Connecting with Colorado Elected Officials: Connect with Senator Coleman and Representative Bacon on this issue of inequitable educational attainment for students who are justice engaged.

👉 Press Conference and Meetings: We will start with a press conference on the west steps from 1-2 pm and move to meetings with elected officials afterwards. We plan to be at the Capitol until 4 pm.

How to Join:

Let Jose Silva at Generation Schools Network/JES-CO know if you are available to meet with elected officials after the 1 pm press conference, or just plan to join us at the press conference where media is planning to attend.
